【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61300detailsaprocedurefordeterminingthesuitabilityofafibreopticdeviceorclosuretowithstandvariationsinhumidityandtemperaturethatmayoccurduringoperation,storageand/ortransport.Thetestisintendedtoindicatetheperformanceofsuchdeviceswhenexposedtoheatandhumidityfollowedbyshort-termfreezing.Ingeneralterms,thistestprovidesahightemperaturetoinducepotentialfailuresduetosofteningandexpansion,ahighhumiditytoencouragemoistureabsorptionandswellingandalowtemperaturetofacilitateiceformation,embrittlementandcontraction.Thistestdiffersfromothercyclicenvironmentaltests,notablythedampheatcyclictestofIEC61300-2-46andthecompositetemperature-humiditycyclictestof61300-2-21,byincorporatingalternativelevelsofseverity.Thisisachievedthrougha)agreaternumberofcycles;b)agreatercyclictemperaturerange;c)adecreasedcyclicperiod.
