【摘要】:ThisdevicetemplateiscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitecture,Version1.0.WANDeviceisaREQUIREDvirtualdeviceundertherootdeviceurn:schemas-upnp-org:device:InternetGatewayDeviceWANDeviceisastandalonevirtualdeviceandmaybeincludedinotherrootdevicesifappropriate.EachWANinterfaceMUSTsupportoneInternetconnection,butMAYsimultaneouslysupportmorethanoneInternetconnection.ThemodelingofconnectionsisdescribedintheTheoryofOperationsection.EachWANDeviceisavirtualinstantiationofaphysicalWANinterfaceontheInternetgateway.IfanInternetGatewayDeviceprovidesmultipleWANphysicalinterfacestoUPnPclients,eachofthesewilltypicallybeincludedinthedevicedescriptiondocumentasdistinctWANDeviceinstances.However,animplementationmaychoosetoencapsulatemorethanonephysicalWANinterfaceinasingleWANDevice.Thismaybedone,forexample,inapplicationsthatuseasymmetricconnectionslikeasatellitedownlinkandPOTSuplink.AnotherexamplewouldbewheremultiplephysicalWANinterfacesarepooledandpresentedasonedevice.AspectssuchasloadbalancingbetweenthepooledresourceswouldbetransparenttoUPnPclientsinthiscase.
