【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwotypesandtwogradesofseven-wire,uncoatedsteelstrandforuseinpretensionedandpost-tensionedprestressedconcreteconstruction.Thetwotypesofstrandarelow-relaxationandstress-relieved(normal-relaxation).Low-relaxationstrandshallberegardedasthestandardtype.Stress-relieved(normal-relaxation)strandwillnotbefurnishedunlessspecificallyordered,orbyarrangementbetweenpurchaserandsupplier.Grade1725[250]andGrade1860[270]haveminimumultimatestrengthsof1725MPa[250ksi]and1860MPa[270ksi],respectively,basedonthenominalareaofthestrand.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.3ThesupplementaryrequirementsinS1shallbespecifiedfor15.2-mm[0.600-in.]diameteruncoatedseven-wiresteelstrandifneededforapplicationsinprestressedgroundanchors.
